Lag stone row on the Isle of Mull
Distribution of short combination rows composed of less than 10 different sized stones
A small number of stone rows do not fit comfortably into the single, double or triple classification because they consist of different elements within their length. It is possible that they represent the mutilated examples of stone rows, but it is much more likely that they were built with different numbers of rows. At Lag the stone row has both single and double elements.
