Pair of stones next to the stone circle which is visible in the background. View from south east (Scale 1m).
A possible double stone row measuring 34m long, including 7 small and medium-sized stones leading from a stone circle situated on a south west facing slope. The row is orientated ESE to WNW and stands in the vicinity of several cairns and a prehistoric field system. Doubts concerning the identity of this row hinge around the fact that stones in the area have been interfered with.

Identification
Category: Possible. Doubts have been expressed regarding the authenticity of the stone circle and whilst it now looks appropriate there is a strong possibility that stones have been moved around fairly recently. In many ways the stone row seems more genuine. The recumbent slabs have associated hollows. However given that this area has clearly been interfered with a great deal it is probably safest to consider this a possible row.
Typology
This stone row is of Type D7. Information on this form of stone row and other rows of this type is available here.
