Pen y Garreg

View from the south west. The ranging rod is positioned beside the third stone which is turf covered (Scale 1m).

A single stone row measuring 5.4m long, including two medium and one large orthostats situated on a south facing slope overlooking the Elan valley. Only one stone remains standing and the row is orientated ENE to WSW.

View from south west (Scale 1m). The stone in the foreground measures 2.12m long by 0.82m wide and stands up to 0.34m above the ground surface.

Access Information

Car parking is available at SN 91496 67308. From here head north along the road to SN 91537 67370. Take the footpath through the wood to SN 91540 67491. Turn right and follow the track to SN 91724 67394. Turn left and follow track to SN 91148 67705. Follow the footpath up the hill to the row.
