The Upper Erme stone row on Dartmoor includes more stones than the combined total at all 46 Welsh stone rows

The Upper Erme stone row includes at least 922 stones, whilst the combined total of stones at all the Welsh rows is only 652.

    Thanks, Sandy! I’m looking forward to getting back out to Erme after lockdown – I’ll have a look for the point where the sea becomes visible too (from memory pretty near the end).

    1. Thanks Neil. I was hoping to get our there this Spring to do a GPS survey and check out the sea and other reveals. Looks like it may have to wait a little while yet.
